Trading fees are paid to fund the Bisq DAO when making or taking an order. Fees can be paid in BSQ or BTC. Bisq encourages you to use BSQ (this helps fund Bisq development) by offering a discount of approximately 50%. The discount fluctuates with the BSQ/BTC market. To keep the 50% discount, trading fees are updated every cycle when necessary.
