While this is a seemingly simple process it brings up a number of issues and subtleties that no doubt will come up again in the future.
The first being, is this only for China, or might it be used in circumventing other (any?) firewalls? Perhaps we don't know. But, it's worth investigating. If so, the title would be more encompassing.
It would be nice to have parallel construction with something already in existence, both from a title and structural point of view. We have a somewhat parallel page, "Getting Started with Bisq" or maybe the next level down "Download and Install". If could construct this topic (article?) so that after the procedure is complete, we refer them back into the proper workflow "Configure a national currency account" or whatever may be appropriate would be nice.
The english characters for acronyms (SS/SSR) should remain, but the textual descriptions can be eliminated.
I might suggest the structure as follows:
Title "Getting Started with Bisg in China" or "Download and install Bisg in China" . . .?
This process may allow Bisq to run from within mainland China.
(I wouldn't assume that in China they call their situation, "The Great Firewall". I suspect we in the west may like to use that term in our ethnocentric ways. (If need be I can ask at work.)
Requirements (Prerequisites?)
- Download SOCKSTap (SStap) from github
Directions (I might suggest "Instructions" unless we've already set a precedence elsewhere)
1 Open SStap
2 (Uncertain what this step is doing.) Install (?) Shadowsocks (SS) or ShadowsocksR(SSR) proxy
3 Fill in the Socks5 fields, etc.
4 When the Bisq main menu appears, go to (hyperlink to the screen in the "Download and Install" section?)
My 2 cents worth. Ken

Thanks Ken. I share your lack of clarity regarding various points in the directions section. However the translators who provided me with the original document were happy, so I assume it's acceptable for the intended audience.
As for "The Great Firewall" term, I'm just assuming Wikipedia's term is the most acceptable one.

Are you suggesting the English translations (i.e., those in italic) should be removed?

I'll just make the changes and we'll take it from there. I don't think we can segue into a procedure from this one in the wiki yet, because we don't have the structure set up yet.

What we should do (which I discovered after doing the first couple of changes without doing so) is comment out the English so that only the native language appears, but we can look in the source and see what it's all about.
